About me

I live in Overland Park and attend the Blue Valley West High School (in the Blue Valley district).

My father, Dr. Hossein Saiedian, is a professor at the University of Kansas. My mother, Dr. Zohreh Talebizadeh, is the director of Autism Research at the Children's Mercy Hospital, an Associate Professor at the University of Missouri at Kansas City and a  Graduate Faculty at the University of Kansas.

I have a brother, Ideen, who is currently a senior at the University of Southern California (USC). He is a leader in debate and forensics and has won a number of national and state-wide awards. He is the President of the USC debate club.

I love to travel. I have traveled to Bahamas, Canada, France, Italy, Mexico, Monaco, and many of the Caribbean islands.

The Blue Valley school district is a highly recognized school district. It has a 97.4% graduation rate. It has received many recognitions.

Overland Park is one of the best cities in the US. In 2012, the Money Magazine rated Overland Park the 7th best city to live in the United States. Overland Park has also consistently ranked in the top 10 of CNN/Money and Money magazine's 100 Best Cities to Live in the US.

My Interests

I play violin and piano and love music. I also play videogames (Nintendo N64, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DSi, Nintendo GameCube, and Xbox 360).

I also love sports. I watch basketball and soccer. My favorite basketball team is the Miami Heat and my favorite player is LeBron James. I also like Kobe Bryant (sometimes) only because of my brother Ideen. Here are a couple of our photos wearing our favorite jerseys:
