I am a currently a sophomore at UC Berkeley, where I will graduate in 2023 with a B.A. in Computer Science and B.S. in Business Administration. My academic interests lie at the intersection of technology and business and I hope to gain experience in finance.
As a student in the computer science community, I have partaken in group projects and competitions pertaining involving data science. These projects, which can be found on my github or on the projects page, focused on using data science to overcome obstacles such as misinformation in news and outcome inequality in California schools. My project experience gave me exposure to how data science and machine learning principles can be used to assess trends and inform solutions.
On campus, I am involved in Beta Alpha Psi (Honors Business Fraternity), Data Science Society, and the Iranian Students' Cultural Organization.
